Naseberry

Naseberry is the Caribbean name for sapodilla, a small round tropical fruit with rough brown skin and soft, sweet, grainy flesh. Its flavour is often compared to brown sugar, malt, and ripe pear. It is eaten ripe and soft, while unripe fruit is very astringent, and the shiny black seeds inside are not eaten.
