Reviews of Abstract Hair Design

I went for a haircut and colouring with foil today. The lady who did it for me put the foil and colour on my hair, and I waited for more than an hour. Whilst I was sitting, she never came to me once to check my hair to see if my colour is alright, or if I am alright. Then I had to get up myself and ask her if the colour is alright, instead of her coming up to me and asking. She didn’t even check my hair, and she directly took me to wash my hair. After the wash, I had a cut, and I she gave me a completely different cut to what I wanted. It was absolutely horrible, I was so unhappy. It is such a shame as it is a nice place, but the staff are very inexperienced. This is the first time I have been here, and it will be my last. Please do not go here, book somewhere else, and don’t waste your money.

Excellent service from start to finish. I was recommended to go to this salon by a friend. Rhian really listened to what I wanted and made me feel really comfortable. Very pleased with my hair, exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

I started coming to Abstract last year for blow drys as the salon is local to me and the prices are really good. I like that I am able to book online as well to find a time that suits me. I have never really been "loyal" to any salon as I would only ever get my hair done once in a blue moon, however I have been so impressed by the whole experience at Abstract and I am always so happy with my hair that I am now a regular and will always come in for a blowdry whenever I need one! I have had my colour done here too, which I loved. It feels good that I am investing into self care and I always feel amazing whenever I leave. I normally have my blowdrys done by Rhian, but Jodie and Anna have also done them before. They are all amazing at what they do! Rhian is lovely to chat to and she knows exactly how I like my hair! Laura did my colour in January and I was really pleased with it. She, too, was lovely to chat to and made me feel great. I love the hair washing experience. I like the fact the hair wash station is in a private area so that you really can relax, the head massage really is so relaxing - I just wish it was longer! Abstract is a really friendly, down to earth salon and I am happy to now have somewhere I can be "loyal" to when it comes to my hair! Xx

Had the most amazing day getting pampered with my friend. We started with the best facial and getting our nails done and then a pedicure where we could enjoy a lovely Prosecco!! We then went downstairs and Jodie washed, blown and waved our hair which lasted all day! I couldn’t recommend the girls enough! Both salons are absolutely gorgeous and very professional! Can’t wait to go back!!
