The South African Shop is my go-to place whenever I’m craving a taste of home. It’s packed with food memories that instantly take me back, from familiar favourites to hard-to-find treats I genuinely miss. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which makes the experience even better. Every visit feels comforting and enjoyable, and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for authentic South African products and a great customer experience.

I found this shop online and I'm glad I did. The biltong was very nice and the drywoers was good too. I actually loved the Durban curry one! I will be visiting again soon, thank you.

Ordered three bottles of Steers Tikka Sauce that I couldn't find elsewhere. They were sent with 10 days left until the Best Before date. T&Cs state a guarantee of 7 days. Don't recall seeing this noted on the specific item link or before checkout. They offered a refund for these items if I returned them at my cost. So, beware of this BB/Use by timeframe. Pretty disappointing response referring me to a customer email sent to each customer after checkout. No real issue with the other items ordered, except the 'skin' had peeled off most of the droewors. I'll shop elsewhere from now on.

I’ll definitely be coming back to this shop whenever I need South African products. The website is easy to use, and I love that you don’t have to spend loads or buy in bulk to get free delivery. I chose standard delivery, but my order arrived way quicker than expected. Everything was in perfect condition, and the expiry dates were well into the future, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I didn’t get a chance to take photos of my package (life was hectic that day). P.S. I ordered from another SA store just before this one, and the experience was disappointing - stale products and poor customer service. So I’ll be sticking with the South African Spaza Shop from now on. They’ve earned my trust

I ordered Biltong, drywors and some cheese boerewors... On Wednesday.. I just received my order.. Let me tell you. The biltong is PERFECT and Delicious! Bits of yellow fat, not too dry or too wet... You have us hooked! Great supplier, great product, highly recommended!
