The place would probably be better if it didn't stink of raw sewage from the open waste pipes flooding the back of the shop which attracts all manner of vermin. The broken windows and out of date produce don't much help. Tacky, shoddy and not particularly hygenic. Edit 2025. Fair play to the manager and staff who have, since I originally wrote this, tidied up and fixed most of their issues and have really turned around their business and standing within the local community. Amended from 2 to 4 stars.

One of my favourite shops in the Govan area. Excellent for fresh flatbread, fruit, veg, and a huge range of middle eastern products. Great value as well and friendly staff.

One of the best shop in this locality. People working here is so nice n gentle and always treat to their customers very politely.

I mainly go there to get some halal meat from the butcher section. Good prices for everything, they mince the meat front of you which is really good as other halal butchers in Glasgow don't do it. Nice and fresh mince beef as well with the right ratio of fat not too much, the way I like it. Helpful staff, you can find Mediterranean foods as well and most of the Asian spices.

Very friendly staff, butcher selling quality halal meats, lots of groceries including exotic products (Caribbean, African, middle east etc). Super fresh produce as well, some of their fruit are amazing.
