Been busy but feel like I have to leave this review because I can't believe the way your staff behave. I came in to have a wander around on Sunday after being in here previously during the week and seeing afew things I liked. I saw a member of staff working so hard while others just stood around doing absolutely nothing while she struggled doing about 3 people's jobs. No management to be seen unless they were stood there getting involved with the chatting and the only way I can describe it is as "singling out" your other staff members and making there lives harder. I don't want to put shame on you as a store but shame on you if this the way you treat your hard working members off staff, it came across as bullying in the work place to me and it is absolutely disgusting behaviour to see when just coming todo some shopping. I felt so bad leaving this shop I dont think I'll ever come back and recommend others don't ever disgraceful childish behaviour and just makes me feel ill. All I can think is how would that manager feel if it was someone they knew or even a family member being treated this way disgraceful and not the first time I witnessed it here this was my final straw. (Also finally i don't find it very appropriate when your staff stand there talking about there drug usage (cocaine) and other experience at full volume with other members of staff who are clearly not interested

Called in to Matalan today,, very happy with my purchase but more than this,I left my phone in the changing room without knowing,so when my wife rang me it was a great relief when staff member Sarah answered and said she was looking after it until I came back.Sarah is a lovely young lady and a credit to your company.

Not a reflection on this particular store or their staff. I just can't stand corporate greed. Capitalism yes... greed no... Why is there a charge to drive to the store and collect the item that has been bought online? How is this charge justified? Ask the greedy Matalan directors, I guess. Bet you get an answer similar to that of a corrupt politician.

I came in yesterday to get some baby clothes for my grandaughter. I spoke a few times to a Very Helpful member of staff called Caitlin. I meant to post this review yesterday after the visit as she was Soooooo Good + maybe a weekend member of staff im not sure. She definitely deserves some praise from the store manager. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me. Well Done Caitlan.
